Suicide, the Unforgivable Sin.
Did you know that suicide is an unforgivable sin? That it is a sin more serious than homicide? Well it is; because God’s word commands, “Thou shalt not kill.” Properly understood, the commandment means, “Thou shalt do no murder. In addition the bible states that no murderer has eternal life, This means that a murderer whose sin has not been forgiven, cannot enter into God’s presence.
Why is suicide so deadly and so final? The answer is that in order for sins to be forgiven there must be repentance, which is another name for Godly sorrow, that is to say genuine determination to turn away from committing sin in the future. In other words the repentance must be retrospective not prospective. A person cannot say, “Lord for what I am about to do I am truly sorry; but I am going to do it nevertheless.”
That is why I would like to offer free Christian counseling to all those who may be entertaining suicidal thoughts. I would like to throw out this challenge to you. If you have arrived at a point in your life, or if you are approaching that point, where you have no further use for your life, give it over to me and I will give it to Jesus. You don’t have to suffer alone. Let us enter the gateway to heaven together and let us walk all the way to our Father’s house.. Rev Dr Weekes
